Booking and purchase terms.

Bookings and payment

Every Christchurch room has a two-paid-player minimum. Online payment is optional, and customers may pay on arrival by EFTPOS, credit or debit card, or cash. Advance bank transfer and approved invoicing are available where arranged in advance.

Prices shown through the booking journey include GST. A booking remains subject to the room capacity, availability and details confirmed for that visit.

Children and supervision

Children aged 11 and under require an adult in the room. One or two genuine supervising adults may be arranged without charge when they are primarily supervising; contact Christchurch when the online booking flow cannot represent that arrangement.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Contact Escape Artists Christchurch as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel a booking. Any change, cancellation or refund is assessed against the booking details and the circumstances of the request; sending a request does not itself confirm the change or refund.

If attendee numbers change within room capacity, the booking price is recalculated using the current approved participant rules and the two-paid-player minimum.

Gift vouchers

Paid gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from purchase, and the expiry date is shown on the voucher. Voucher purchases are non-refundable and vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.

Lost or missing vouchers can be located and replaced where possible after the purchaser details have been checked. Unused value remains on the voucher, and the same voucher may be reused while value remains. Multiple vouchers cannot currently be combined.

Gift vouchers are redeemed in store by choosing pay on arrival in the booking journey and bringing the voucher. Promotional or discount codes are separate products and may have different conditions.

Using the venue

Customers must follow reasonable safety instructions from the Escape Artists Christchurch team and treat the venue, equipment, staff and other visitors respectfully. Damage caused deliberately or through misuse may be charged to the responsible customer.
