Every room takes 2 to 6 players and your booking is private, so the room is yours alone. Four to five is the sweet spot for most teams. If you have more than 6, we split you across rooms and run them at the same time.

The game itself is 60 minutes. Allow about 90 minutes at the venue in total, which covers the briefing before you go in and photos and debriefing afterwards.

Booking online guarantees your slot and takes under a minute. Walk ins are welcome when a room is free, but Friday and Saturday evenings usually sell out.

From $30 per person, and the smallest team we take is 2. 2 to 4 players are $35 each, 5 to 6 players are $30 each, and children 12 and under are $25 each with an adult playing alongside them.

Arrive 15 minutes before your booking. That gives your game master time to brief the team and set the scene without eating into your 60 minutes.

Nothing but your team. Everything you need is in the room. Wear whatever you are comfortable moving around in, and leave bags and phones in the lobby lockers.

Your game master watches the whole game and can pass you a hint whenever you ask. There is no limit and no penalty. The goal is for your team to have a great hour, not to be beaten by a padlock.

In most of our rooms the door is not locked at all, and you can walk out whenever you like. Mysterious Cabin does lock, and there are emergency exit buttons inside, so your team can always let itself out. Either way your game master is watching and can open up in seconds.

Yes. Most of our rooms are all ages and families play them regularly. Children under 12 need an adult playing with them. Kidnapped and Room 238 are rated R13 and are not suitable for younger players.

Yes. We can run every room at once, which takes a group of up to 36 people head to head in the same hour. See our workplace escape page for packages and pricing.

Not easily, and we would rather say so than have you find out on the day. There are steps throughout the building, so a wheelchair user would need to be lifted down them. Some rooms also involve crouching, kneeling or moving in low light. Call us on 03 470 1113 before you book and we will talk through what is possible for your group.

Kidnapped and Room 238 are tense and dimly lit. No room has live actors and nothing ever jumps out at you. Every other room is built to be fun rather than frightening.
